Pressure/vacuum valve tested as a deflagration end-of-life protection device

Pressure/vacuum valve and deflagration end-of-life protection
Pressure/vacuum valve tested as a flame arrestor according to DIN EN ISO 16852. Ventilation lines on storage tanks prevent negative and positive pressure during filling, emptying, cleaning, heating, cooling or inerting of the container. Pressure/vacuum valves are used to limit the loss or contamination of the stored medium. The deflagration end protection device with integrated pressure/vacuum valve prevents flame propagation in the event of deflagration of explosive vapor-air or gas-air mixtures of explosion groups IIA1, IIA, IIB1, IIB2, and IIB3 with a standard gap width ≥ 0.65 mm from the outside (atmosphere) to the inside of the storage container (side to be protected).
