EUROTARS Tumor And Reconstruction System
The EuromedTumor and Reconstruction System (EUROTARS) is comprised of a wide variety of implants and instruments designed to reconstruct irrepairable defects involving hip, knee, shoulder and elbow joints as well as defects associated with neighboring femur, tibia and humerus bones caused by tumor resection, revision arthroplasty or trauma. The connection and extension parts are modular and universal for humeral, femoral and tibial body components. AllTi6AL4V components in the system are type 2 anodization coated in accordance with AMS 2488 D specification. Titanium nitride (TiN) hard ceramic coating is also available. The knee joint of the system has a controlled rotational hinge mechanism. The tibial rotation piece has two projections on the lower surface and the tibial insert has two grooves which accommodate these projections allowing 16 degrees of internal and external rotation. The system has a nonrotating hinged knee option for situations where extensive muscle resection is required and rotation cannot be controlled.

Quadrofit Revision Knee System
Quadrofit Revision Knee System is indicated for cases of revision of a primary total knee replacement or for primary total knee replacement when bone augmentation is required. Primary total knee arthroplasty may be subject to failure for various reasons, including polyethylene wear, aseptic loosening, osteolysis, infection, ligamentous instability and patellofemoral complications. Goals of a successful total knee revision include, amongst others: - Mechanical alignment restoration- Re-establishment of the joint line- good fixation of revision implant components- Acceptable range of motion restoration- Flexion/extension gap balancing It is the surgeon's responsibility to assess whether the indications for use are respected.

Quadrofit Total Knee System
The Quadrofit Total Knee System is designed and developed for use in cemented and cementless application of Total Knee arthroplasty. The unique femoral cutting guide combines various functionalities in one component. This enables the surgeon to shape the femur fast and accurate with only one guide positioning and fixing. Quadrofit Total Knee System offers to a user/surgeon a lot of options used for application of total knee arthroplasty: Standard and Posterior Stabilized for Femur Fixed and Mobile Bearing for Tibia Fixed and Posterior Stabilized Inserts Extension stem and Augmentation for Tibia ReSurfacing and Insert Patella All options can be performed with a single instrument set and offer intraoperative flexibility during surgery combined with maximum versatility.

Bipolar Head
Placement of cup together with a femoral head on stem gives an articulated partial prosthesis. The modular outher shell is manufactured from certified stainless steel and inner side, the insert is manufactured from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyetylene UHMWPE.

Optifit Cementless Cup
In principal for all forms of arthrosis, advance wear and tear of the hip joint because of degeneratif, posttraumatic or rheumatoid arthritis fracture of avascular necrosis of the head of femur. Sequelae of earlier operations such as osteosynthesis, joint reconstruction, arthrodesis, hemiarthroplastic or total hip replacement. Cementless Standard Cup is an acetabular implant for uncemented fixation. The standard cup made of Ti6Al4V alloy with three dimensional interlock grit blast presents a hemispherical shape with polar deflection to enhance the perifery distribution of the stresses effecting the cup. The titanium cup has three holes on supero-lateral side. The screws have a spheric head and have always a good contact with their seatings, even if the introduction angle may be different. This prevents the fratting corrosion and assures the screw stability. In spite of the different possible introduction angles of the screw. Choosen as the basic material was Ti6Al4V which has been tried and tested over many years and is outstandingly biocompatible. For the bone side contact surface optional Titanium Plasma Spray coating or additional Hydroxyapatite coating enhances initial fixation and long-term bone integration. The porosity of plasma spray is ideal for osseointegration.

Ball head
The placement of the head on the stem gives an articulated partial prosthesis. The head is set on the taper of the stem giving required movement within the inner semisphere of the acetabulum. Acetabular implants for endoprosthetics made from modern high-performance materials have proven themselves well in clinical use for decades and can be used with all common prosthesis materials combined. These material has excellent bio mechanical properties and ensure maximum functionality and reability for the patient

Cemented Cup
The cups are placed in degenerated anatomical acetabulum and requires cement for fixation. Provided with radiopaque wire for postoperatory visualisation. The standard 50 mm acetabular cup meets the anatomical requirements of major patients, while the 44 mm cup is used if the ilium is narrow in cases of high dislocation with migration of the acetabulum. Two larger sizes of acetabular cups, 54, 58 mm have been added to the range to meet special requirements of large boned patients. The U.H.M.W. polyethylene cup has wellproved tissue tolerance, elasticity and a very low coefficient of friction. Particular attention is paid to the precision machining and surface finish of the acetabular component, so that, when combined with femoral component, and exceptionally stable total hip replacement is achieved with minimal risk of dislocation and minimum wear rate on the acetabular component.

EMR Revision Hip System
In revision arthroplasty, especially in cases of osteolysis or large cement mantels, the extended femoral defects can cause intraoperatively shaft fractures when removing the stem. The defects and fractures must be bridged by a long stem. The implants have to be adapted exactly to the diameter of the cortical tube and have to be placed distally beyond the pathologic area, where stress patterns become normal. The EMR revision hip system consists of single modular elements, stems, proximal body and safety screws. All elements are able to be fixed rotationally free. The stems are available in three different lengths of 142mm, 172mm & 212mm, straight with eight different diameters. These components do really guarantee to solve all intraoperative situations as soon as the surgeon sees the defect during revision. A torque limiter fixes the compression force between the single modules always at the same value of torque.

EUROFIT Primary Cementless Stem
Eurofit Primary Cementless Stem is a well proven implant, which is designed to be used as a primary total hip. The stem sizes allow accurate matching of prosthesis to the medullary canal. The prosthesis offers fixation locking effect of a stem to bone contact. This particular stem has vertical and horizontal shapes with tapered distal edges to increase stability. It may be used in conjuction with the modular head cone 12/14 and Optifit Cementless acetabular cup or cemented cup for total articular hip replacement.

Modular Straight Cementless / Cemented Stem
The Modular Straight Cementless and Cemented Stem hip prostheses are designed to be used as primary and revision total hips. The stem sizes allow accurate matching of prosthesis to the medullary canal. The prosthesis offers dual fixation by combining the locking effect of a stem to bone contact, plus minimal bone cement support. They may be used in conjunction with the modular head cone 12/14 and polyethylene acetabular components for total articular replacement.

Almond Modular Cementless / Cemented Stem
The Almond Modular Cementless Stem and Almond Modular Cemented Stem are well proven implants. They consist of a complete set for primary total hip replacements: The femoral stems are designed to guarantee an optimal metaphyseal filling. The metaphyseal zone has a triangular section to avoid the generation of varus forces. The triangular section in the metaphiseal zone guarantees an antirotational effect and the round section in the bottom stems part allows an optimal medullary canal filling. The internal stems profile changes with the implant size in order to keep constant the head offset and avoid a valgisant effect for the smaller sizes.
