Flow straighteners and conditioners are used in conjunction with flowmeters. They can smooth out turbulent and transitional flows and help meters measure more accurately. Location sould be between 7,5D and 12D from meter device. Flow can be straighten by Plate Conditioner or Tube Bundles. They can be mounted between flanges (RF, RTJ) or as a weld-in unit. Available in wide variety of materials ( SA105, SS316, F12, F22, F91,…) Designed in compliance with ISO 5167-2 & API 14.3 Part 2 (AGA)
