Model T2 valves are used for various well or plant services requiring bi-directional valves. Model T2 valves feature a slab gate and floating seats. The pressure energizes the seats against the gate, achieving a tight seal upstream as well as downstream. When the valve is closed, the handwheel must be backed off ¼ turn.
