Safe charging and storage of lithium-ion batteries in type 90 safety cabinets For the safe active and passive storage of lithium batteries, the asecos ION-LINE offers three different safety levels: - CORE: Comprehensive fire protection with the proven asecos evacuation and alarm forwarding concept. - PRO: The ION-LINE PRO ensures enhanced protection when handling lithium-ion batteries thanks to optimised monitoring and meets high safety standards as defined in the VDMA 24994 certification thanks to its fume management - including pressure relief, venting attachment and the option of connecting to a fume extraction system. - ULTRA: The ION-LINE ULTRA is VDMA 24994 and GS-certified and offers maximum safety with improved fire protection, active flue gas management (incl. pressure relief, venting attachment and option to connect to a flue gas extraction system) and extended monitoring, even in particularly sensitive areas. It meets the requirements of GS principle EK5/AK4 22-01 for the testing and certification of safety storage cabinets for the storage of lithium-ion batteries.
