It is also fully MED type-approved according to ISO 19697:2016 by TÜV SÜD. The NT1750 EPR features an operator-selectable second screen, intended for towing operations with escort tugs in accordance with Bureau Veritas (BV) classification rules NR467 of January 2025, "Rules for the Classification of Steel Vessels / Part E – Service Notations for Offshore Supply Vessels and Tugs." If preset safety limits are exceeded, a visual and/or audible alarm is triggered to initiate corrective action. The heel angle zones are: Green (safe), Yellow (action required), and Red (immediate action required). All zones are adjustable by the towmaster.
