Soil Temperature Transducer

The TTT is a compact and robust sensor for detecting soil temperature. The sensor consists of a 30 cm long graduated rod with a sensitive element attached to its end. By inserting the rod into the ground, the TTT can easily and accurately provide the temperature value at the desired depth. The sensor body is made of high-quality plastic, while the end part containing the sensitive element is made of stainless steel. The sensitive component consists of a Pt100 platinum resistance thermometer with a response curve compliant with the DIN 43760 Class 1/3 standard. The resistive output provided is then converted into an electrical, analogue or digital signal. The sensor is supplied complete with a power and signal cable (12 m).
