Seeking a 180ml PET syrup bottle to address supply issues and regulatory constraints in a developing market. The bottle must be packaged without any change in format and with minimal regulatory variation. Compliance with existing specifications that are binding in terms of budget, quality and machinability. Solutions Co-development of a new 180ml format to fit into a standard range (our Beta range), compatible with a standard PP28 tamper-evident child-resistant cap. Use of materials and colorants in the documentation to reduce variations and compatibility testing. Production in ISO class 8, internal validation of equipment and cross-validation of bottles and caps for a safe and rapid launch, production in compliance with the required ISO 9001 / ISO 15378 certifications. Results Tooling development and pilot batch sampling lead time of less than 10 weeks. Co-development of a 180ml PET bottle meeting the specific specifications of the laboratory and allowing optimized bi-sourcing.
