Also known as polyamide 11, nylon 11 exhibits outstanding abrasion, chemical, impact, moisture, and thermal resistance, and excellent dimensional stability. It is ideal for use with instrumentation and pneumatic accessories that are connected to the air brake system. D.O.T tubing is required to meet SAE J844 specifications, and comes in two varieties: Type A and Type B. Freelin-Wade currently produces type A nylon 11 D.O.T. tubing which meets SAE J844 specifications.
