If an emergency occurs with this system in use, the securing clamp is released to allow the entire body of the barrier to turn and fold into its closed position. As with our other systems, actuation of the fast-acting clamp exercises pressure on the ground seal and locks the body of the barrier in position. Larger and heavier barriers can also be fitted with an optional weight-compensation system. The support bracket then has an integrated gas tension spring. This type of spill barrier can only be installed in front of an embrasure.
