The PP-RCT pipe with a special flame retardant additive has a glass fibre middle layer that gives the pipes greater dimensional stability. In fact, one of the main advantages of NOFIRE pipes is the reduction in linear thermal expansion, which translates into a reduced amount of bracketing (-30%) and therefore reduced installation time and costs in wet sprinkler systems.
