Bolted body
The standard ball valve is designed for applications with filtered and treated gases, for moderate minimum and maximum temperatures. This valve configuration is the most competitive in terms of price and lead time. Depending on pressure, size, and service, a floating or trunnion-mounted version is available. This valve can be requested for underground installation.
High Temperature
For continuous operating temperatures above 200°C (392°F), standard polymers and elastomers are no longer applicable. For this severe service, static and dynamic seals are made of graphite-based materials, while the trim is metal-to-metal.
Cryogenic
When the valve's operating temperature is below -50°C (-58°F), special care is required in material selection, design, and manufacturing. This expertise is key to ensuring tightness and proper operation even with liquefied gases.
Standard
The standard trunnion-mounted top-entry ball valve is designed for filtered and treated gas applications and for moderate minimum and maximum temperatures. This valve configuration is the most competitive in terms of price and lead time.
