The LMCS/LMCM is a heat-shrinkable sleeve or heat-shrinkable cuff for the ground-to-air transition on light poles. The HDPE (high-density polyethylene) outer layer provides high mechanical protection and also offers high UV stability. The inner layer consists of a sealant adhesive designed for high temperature ranges and thus meets the requirements for above-ground applications.

The GRSM shrink-fit sealing sleeve is used in low-pressure gas networks for the subsequent sealing of leaking crimp and screw-type socket connections. The longitudinally oriented sleeve consists of modified, molecularly cross-linked, and therefore infusible polyolefin and is coated on the inside with a thermoplastic sealant. The F version is additionally reinforced with a fiberglass insert. The included plastic sealing profile fills the transition between the socket and the pipe. In its delivered state, the sleeve is stretched sufficiently to easily fit around the crimp or threaded socket connection. The sleeve is closed with a flexible chrome-nickel steel strip or, in the case of GRSM-F, with an integrated locking system. When heated, e.g. with an open gas flame, the sleeve shrinks — whereby the sealing adhesive and the sealing tape melt and are pressed tightly into cavities or unevenness over the leaking mortise or screw sleeve connection and seal it completely. Special features High mechanical strength. Excellent resistance to acidic and alkaline soils as well as to soil bacteria and fungi. Internal pressure tight up to 10kPa (100mbar) for GRSM or 5kPa (50mbar) for GRSM-F, even under strong ground vibrations due to high traffic loads. Easy and quick installation under normal operating pressure. GRSM and GRSM-F are tested and approved according to DIN/EN 30658.
