ENAMELLED GLASS
Enamelled glass is created by applying enamel to glass, which then undergoes processes of drying and heat-treating. The term enamelled glass covers all enamel application methods (any technology). Depending on the type of heat treatment, the products meet requirements of the EN 12150-1, EN 14179-1 or EN 1863-1 standards, respectively

FIRE-RESISTANT GLASS
In rooms where glass is used in the partitions, there is a particularly high risk of fire spreading rapidly due to the low resistance of this material to high temperatures. In such cases, there is therefore a risk that evacuation may not be possible. This risk is temporarily eliminated by the use of specialised fire-resistant glass. This type of fire-resistant glass prevents toxic gases from entering adjacent rooms, as well as rising temperatures. When exposed to fire, there is also a change in the structure of the glass layers, which are responsible for the stability of the work under fire load. These layers form a hard and opaque layer. This gives the building occupants the time they need to evacuate.

ALARMSHIELD
larmShield glass works by the application of a miniature metallic-enamel screen βloopβ, printed onto the surface of the glass. The loop forms a simple cathode / anode circuit connection. These external connections are then permanently hard-wired into the buildingsβ alarm system. As the substrate is toughened, if the glass is ever broken, it will fragment into hundreds of tiny pieces. The fragmentation will break the metallic enamel loop circuit, interrupting the electrical circuit and immediately triggering the alarm.

Toughened glass
Glass is naturally fragile. Thanks to the toughening process, the internal stresses within its structure change, which results in an increase in its bending strength. Toughened glass means safety. When it breaks, the pane is shattered into tiny pieces with blunt edges. This characteristic makes toughened glass particularly suited for use in highly sensitive places, with a high risk of being broken or exposed to high insolation β which means a big increase of internal thermal stresses.
