Krah GmbH
Krah GmbH is a family-owned company founded in 1968, specializing in the development and production of helical extrusion pipe production technology for large diameter plastic pipes, ranging from DN/ID 300 mm to DN/ID 5000 mm. Their products are used in various applications, including gravity pipes, pressure pipes, manholes, fittings, tanks, and special applications.

Krah Pipes
Krah Pipes are made from HD-PE100 (acc. to DIN16961, EN13476, ASTM F894, ISO9969 and other intl. standards) are produced with an integrated electro fusion joint socket and spigot. The pipe is completely helically extruded with profiles or solid wall, tailor made for any kind of application within the standards. The pipes have no welding seams or any weak points and are completely monolithic made from high density PE100. There is no recycled mixed material used, to assure an excellent quality of the pipes which is assuring the service cycle of minimum 100 years.

KDR production line
The KDR Series is a twin screw helical extrusion line of Krah, which is a complete plastic pipe production plant, to produce structured wall (acc. DIN16961 etc.) or solid wall pipes by using fillers like CaCo3/Glassfibre etc., on internal diameters from DN 300 mm up to DN 5000 mm made out high density polyethylene/polypropylene, reinforced/mixed with glassfibre or CaCo3. Glassfibre reinforced polyethylene (PE-GF) Polyethylene/polypropylene with filler material Virgin polyethylene or polypropylene In a huge market of competition, cost savings by using filler materials becomes more and more important for pipe manufacturers. The production technology with the twin screw extruder is compounding filler material with the polyethylene or polypropylene to assure the same stiffness or pressure rate compared to traditional produced pipes. The glassfibre reinforced polyethylene pipes (PE-GF) are mainly used for pressure pipe application and pipe jacking. The compound with filler material are used to increase the stiffness significantly for buried pipe application. Production line can be equipped for solid wall production only as also for profiled wall structure pipes.

KR production line
The KR Series is the single screw high performance helical extrusion line of Krah, which is a complete plastic pipe production plant, to produce structures wall (acc. DIN16961, etc.) or solid wall pipes (acc. ISO 4427 etc.) on internal diameters from DN 300 mm up to DN 5000 mm made out high density polyethylene or polypropylene. Even fittings, manholes and tanks can be produced with only one single KR Line, to cover more market segments. Pipes can be produced in lengths from 1m up to 6m and on special request even longer, on any required wall design according the international standards. The main applications for the structured wall pipe products are low, non -pressure applications like for sewer, drainage, storm water, sea outfall/intake, irrigation systems and or even storage tanks. The possibility to determine the most efficient pipe wall design with Krah Software Mickey, assures the customer to produce pipes, fittings and manholes according the standards and as an add value according the project requirements. The newest Krah Line is KR950 OptiMate with approximately 1.500 kg/hr output for a pipe DN/ID1000, PE100, with SN8 (according to ISO9969). The great advantage of the development is that a profiled pipe has lower weight in comparison with solid wall pipes and at the same time can be used very cost efficient for environments with high loads. Significant cost saving and continuous production assures the customer, excellent production and sales result. Furthermore, every pipe can be produced with an integrated socket and spigot for the most cost efficient and sustainable jointing solution electro fusion.
