Weholite is a large diameter, structural profile wall pipe made from advanced, high density polyethylene (HDPE) resin, manufactured to ASTM F-894. Designed for gravity and low-pressure applications, Weholite's strength, lightweight and application robustness is delivered through the properties of the advanced resin materials used in its manufacturing combined with a patented structural profile design, resulting in superior performance and high loading capacity. With a 100-year design life, Weholite will not rust, corrode or degrade, resulting in one of the lowest life cycle costs when compared to conventional materials.

Wehogas natural gas distribution and gas service pipe has been manufactured by Infra Pipe Solutions (formerly KWH Pipe) since 1988. Wehogas MDPE is made from Medium Density Polyethylene resin. Wehogas MDPE is yellow with blue indented print line. Wehogas resin formulations are listed in PPI TR4. Wehogas MDPE pipes are produced in CTS and IPS sizes and are certified to CSA B137.4, CSA Z662-11.

Polyethylene Pipes represent the material of choice for most gas distribution and gas gathering applications in North America and throughout the world. For US applications their use is governed by 49 CFR 192 which prescribes the design of plastic piping. In Canada the operation is regulated through CSA Z662. Polyethylene pipe for gas distribution applications range from ½" diameter through 24" diameter. Typical pressure capabilities are up through 80 psi for MDPE pipes and up through 125 for HDPE pipes.
