Beacon 410A Controller
The Beacon 410A is a highly configurable, microprocessor-based, flexible and easy to use 4 channel gas monitoring controller. It simultaneously displays the gas type, readings, and status for four channels of gas detection. It can monitor any combination of direct connect sensors (LEL, O2, CO2, and toxic gas sensors), as well as any 4-20mA transmitter. Each channel has up to three fully configurable alarm points. A built-in silenceable audible alarm alerts you to alarm conditions. Each channel also has two dedicated fully configurable relays and there is a bank of common relays as well. The common relays can optionally be configured as additional relays allowing up to 3 alarm relays per channel. Each channel provides a 4-20mA output signal. A digital Modbus interface for remote logging of data via a Modbus network is standard. A Min-Max feature retains high & low peak readings for review at any time. A fully configurable, high visibility strobe is available as an option. The unit can be powered from 115/220 VAC, or an external 24 VDC source. A trickle charging battery backup feature with battery assembly is also available as an option. All features and functions of the Beacon 410A are controlled by easy to use menus on the OLED display. All features including form-C relay contacts of the Beacon 410A are built into the unit so you never need to purchase or maintain any “add-on” cards or components.

Formaldehyde Gas Detector
The FP-31 is a highly sensitive portable gas detector specific for formaldehyde detection. It uses a photoelectric photometry method which utilizes colorimetric tablets for detection. A tablet in placed into the instrument, and then a room air sample is pumped onto the tablet for either a 15 minute or a 30 minute period. If formaldehyde is present, it will cause the chemically impregnated tablet surface to darken or stain. The magnitude of the stain directly correlates to the level of formaldehyde in the air. The stain darkness is read by an optical sensor in the FP-31, and then the instrument calculates the formaldehyde concentration. The FP-31 then has a direct readout of the formaldehyde measurement on an easy to read LCD display. The unit is capable of detecting very low levels of formaldehyde, in order to confirm if an area contains safe breathing levels. There are no known interfering gases, as shown on the chart on the reverse side of this sheet.

RX-8000 Marine Gas Monitor
The RX-8000 is an ideal multigas monitor for marine applications. The RX-8000 sets the new industry standard for rugged, reliable portable gas detection. It’s tough, water proof design utilized features based on years of gas detection design experience, to assure that the instrument will operate properly to protect workers and property in all kinds of harsh gas detection applications.

GX-3R
The GX-3R is the worlds smallest 4 gas monitor weighing only 3.52 ounces and can comfortably be clipped within a worker’s breathing zone (2.2” W x 2.55” H x 1.02” D). It simultaneously monitors and displays LEL combustibles, O2, CO (Hydrogen compensated CO also available), and H2S. The GX-3R represents the latest evolution of gas detection technology utilizing a new generation of micro sensors. The LEL sensor has a unique design with two active filaments in one sensor to increase it’s resistance to silicone poisoning. If one filament gets poisoned the second filament takes over. The new O2 sensor is electrochemical with a 3 to 5 year life span. H2S and CO are now available in a combo micro sensor. Safety supervisors will appreciate the non-compliance indicator. The instrument flashes it’s 3 LED lights every 30 seconds in the following conditions; if the instrument has not been bump tested, or if calibration is due, or if there was a gas alarm event. The 3 LED lights will continue to flash once every 30 seconds until the non-compliance condition has been resolved. The 30 second interval is adjustable. OSHA defines the breathing zone as a ten inch radius around the worker’s nose and mouth, and requires that worker exposure monitoring air samples be collected in the breathing zone. Air sampling filters may be attached to the collar or lapel. Traditionally this means only a single gas monitor would be small enough for a worker to practically wear a gas monitor ‘In the breathing zone’. Now there is a 4 gas monitor smaller than many single gas monitors.
