BNWAS BW-800 is produced in Denmark to ensure the high level of quality is maintained. BW-800 is designed as a cost effective product and it is easy to install which means low installation costs for the vessel owner. The small size of the units makes it easy to install on vessels with limited space for new equipment. Most of the systems are installed as retrofit when the vessel is sailing from one port to another or installed the next time the vessel is in dock. Normally, it is more cost effective to exchange an old dead man alarm with a new BNWAS than trying to upgrade the old system.

Daniamant is proud to introduce the ODEO Distress Flare as the next generation of Electronic Visual Distress Signal Device (eVDSD). As the world starts to embrace LED technology as an alternative to traditional pyrotechnic flares Daniamant have built on the ground breaking ODEO Flare design and improved the product once more. New standards and regulations are still being discussed at the USCG and RTCM; these will result in an alternative standard to replace pyrotechnics. Whilst this work proceeds in the background, Daniamant thought that our Customers should be able to take advantage of technology advances in the interim.

New Electronic Visual Distress Signal Fulfils USCG Night, Day Distress Signal Requirements. Daniamant introduces the new ODEO SOS to increase its range of electronic visual distress signals (eVDS). The ODEO SOS is certified to meet US Coast Guard requirements which means it can be used (with provided distress flag) instead of pyrotechnic flares in some countries (USA, Tasmania, Australia & Finland). The ODEO SOS is a high intensity strobe light providing a high intensity internationally recognised SOS morse signal. The ODEO SOS lasts up to 9 hours further increasing chances of rescue and survival. Meeting the USCG requirements of 46 CFR 161.013 the ODEO SOS is approved as night time visual distress signal. With the orange distress flag provided, that meets the requirements of 46 CFR 160.072 the day time visual distress signal requirements are also met (for carriage and approval of day and night distress signals please refer to 33 CFR part 175).

Daniamant introduces the latest model in the popular ODEO product family. The new ODEO Strobe is designed for use in lifesaving situations as a collision warning signal, or to pinpoint your position in a distress situation. Approved to MED, SOLAS and USCG requirements the ODEO Strobe is capable of a visible high intensity flash and includes an Infra-Red signal. The ODEO Strobe has a maximum luminous intensity of 50cd visible for over 3 nautical miles. Lasting up to 2 days, the strobe light is also waterproof to 50m (IP68). It is compact and lightweight and uses a user replaceable AA lithium or alkaline cell, also included is a velcro strap to make mounting the ODEO Strobe to your life jacket or belt easy, so that the strobe light can be accessible the moment you need it.

The DanEI-300 Electronic Inclinometer is an advanced heel and pitch measuring device which is not sensitive to horizontal and vertical accelerations. This will provide information to a better understanding of the ship‘s movement and steering behavior, supervision of trim, cargo status and stability status. On rolling vessels the usual bubble or pendulum inclinometers indicate values which are too high. This margin error can be up to 30% of the measured value. As the DanEI-300 will not be affected by these accelerations it shows the true inclination and roll period. Furthermore, the DanEI-300 can contribute to reduction of fuel consumption and improvement of safety.

The L90 uses five alkaline batteries, offering a life of one year. Robust and reliable, the L90 is automatically activated via a mercury switch after release.

All Daniamant Lifejacket lights are designed to deliver, as a minimum standard, the 0.75cd output specification and 8 hour duration required by IMO SOLAS regulations. WR3 is the recessed version of the Dan W3. This light has a special fitting clip design for attachment to a lifejacket so that only the ultra-low profile dome is above the fabric on the jacket. The light is specially designed for lifejackets used on passenger vessels with excavation or chute systems for mass evacuation of passengers.

The Dan W3 Polar is designed and developed to withstand the harsh maritime environment and type approved for temperature down to -52 degree Celsius. This makes the Dan W3 Polar optimal for use on any expedition cruises or commercial Deepsea sailing in arctic or antarctica waters. It is recommended to be installed as mandatory on any lifejacket onboard ships sailing in polar and cold waters. This new, low profile light is a single compact flashing unit. The light is emitted through a ultra low profile dome, making the light less susceptible to damage during evacuation. Easily fitted with two different backing plates, one to go over a thin strap and one to go over a 5cm belt. This is the automatic version of Dan M3. The light activates automatically when in water and can be turned off manually if required.
