Food Grade Contact Tanks From Niplast®
Introducing Niplast’s exceptional food-grade contact tanks, meticulously crafted to surpass industry standards and elevate your food storage and processing operations. Our tanks are built using materials that meet the rigorous regulations set by the FDA and the EU, ensuring unparalleled safety and quality for your products. Experience the convenience of our internal sloping base and conical base options, specifically designed to facilitate the maximum evacuation of your high value-added products.

Fluoridation Tanks
Niplast®️ HDPE fluoridation tanks are manufactured to the BS EN 12573 Standard to ensure a controlled environment to store the hydrofluosilicic acid used in water fluoridation. With the material base acting as a protective net, our fluoridation tanks can help prevent water loss, leaks, and penetration, minimising health and environmental risks.

rectangular vertical tanks
NIPLAST® rectangular vertical storage tanks are designed and manufactured to part three of the exacting British and European design code BS EN 12573 – the same standard as governs the manufacture of NIPLAST® cylindrical vertical storage tanks. The same high-quality welding procedures and the best available component materials are deployed in the production of these vessels. The key advantage with the NIPLAST® tank range is achieving the maximum storage capacity possible from the whatever space can be made available for the tank.

AQUABULK® STORAGE TANK WATER STORAGE TANKS
Manufactured in polypropylene to the demanding British and European standard BS EN 12573, Niplast’s AQUABULK® range of water storage tanks are used for the storage of many water types including hot and cold water, reverse osmosis ‘RO’ water, demineralised water, and softened water. Niplast AQUABULK® water tanks can incorporate integral heating systems to raise water temperatures to that required before use in a batch process. Capacities of up to 100,000 litres allow Niplast AQUABULK® water tanks to cover a wide range of process water storage applications.

SITEBILT® STORAGE TANKS
Niplast has identified a real need in the market for the in-situ completion of chemical storage tanks, where the delivery of factory completed storage tanks is not possible, but the same design and quality of factory finished tanks is required. The manufacturing processes employed by Niplast mean that factory completed and tested tank subassemblies can be transported to a customer’s site before being welded to other such subassemblies. In this state these component pieces are themselves quite flexible and they can therefore be moved carefully through narrow spaces and into the nominated location for the forthcoming SITEBILT® tank.

SAFEWALL® TANKS
SAFEWALL® integrally bunded tank technology from NIPLAST® is derived from recognising a common problem for clients; that is the need to fully bund liquid storage tank, but without the space required for a traditional ‘cup and saucer’ tank and bund format. SAFEWALL® tanks have therefore been conceived by combining a high specification thermoplastic storage tank within a close-fitting thermoplastic bund. This ‘twin-wall’ construction creates an internal minimum 110% capacity bunding cavity within the overall fabrication, for the collection of any overfill or leakage, without extending the overall footprint by more than a few hundred millimetres. The internal tank and the outer bund both feature their own dedicated bases unlike other systems which locate concentric walls onto one common base. The completed SAFEWALL® tank is manoeuvred and installed as a one-piece system.

SAFEBULK®
SAFEBULK® from NIPLAST ® is a system of liquid chemical storage that provides secondary containment (also called bunding) to the primary chemical storage tank, but as an integral part of the same engineered product. The primary NIPLAST® chemical storage tank is purchased with its own dedicated containment bund, the bund designed and constructed from the same corrosion resistant thermoplastic as specified for the tank. The bund is sized at 110% of the tank’s operating capacity and is designed to collect any tank overfill and protect the immediate environment from any spillage. SAFEBULK® systems accord with HSE guidelines on the bunding of tanks.

CHEMICAL STORAGE TANKS
For more than 40 years NIPLAST® storage tanks have stored millions of litres of corrosive solutions for a wide range of industries including water treatment, wastewater treatment, chemical manufacture and processing, food and pharmaceutical processing, and paper manufacture to name a few. Thousands of NIPLAST ® bulk storage tanks manufactured from polypropylene and high-density polyethylene store acids, alkalis, waters, foodstuffs, effluents and more everyday. NIPLAST ® tanks are designed and manufactured to the British and European Standard BS EN 12573 and also to the fore-running German specification DVS 2205, using only the highest quality component materials available.
