Established in 1975 by Mehmet Ak in Istanbul, Mekisan has grown rapidly in the elevator industry. In 1999, the company launched its Gebze factory, covering 26,300 m², including 11,500 m² of closed area. Mekisan manufactures and sells a range of elevator components, including automatic doors, passenger lift cars, panoramic lift cars, service lifts, freight lift cars, electrical and hydraulic car frames, counterweights, and other elevator equipment.
