The Plastics Pipe Institute, Inc. (PPI) is a non-profit trade association headquartered in Irving, Texas, representing all segments of the plastics piping industry. Established in 1950, PPI's mission is to improve quality of life by championing the advancement, acceptance, and use of sustainable and resilient plastic pipe systems. The association focuses on research, education, technical expertise, and advocacy to promote the benefits of plastic piping systems across various applications, including water and sewer, gas distribution, oil and gas production, industrial and mining uses, power and communications, telecommunications duct, hot and cold water plumbing, hydronics, stormwater, and irrigation.
